SKYBEAM’s Parent Company JAB Continues to Garner National Recognition
June 3, 2014 / Denver – JAB Broadband (JAB), the nation’s largest fixed wireless broadband carrier, has completed its 100th acquisition; while simultaneously named one of North America’s Top 100 companies by Red Herring magazine.
JAB is the industry leader in providing high-speed wireless Internet and digital phone service to residential and commercial customers throughout the Rocky Mountain, Midwest and Southwest regions.

JAB recently concluded the acquisition of three fixed wireless companies in Nevada, Texas and central Iowa; bringing its total to 100 since 2006. As a result of these purchases, JAB’s family of companies now serves 175,000+ residential and commercial accounts.
Separately, JAB was named to Red Herring’s North American “Top 100” which recognizes the innovations and technologies of outstanding entrepreneurs and promising companies in the US and Canada. “JAB Broadband embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture,” said Alex Vieux, Red Herring’s publisher and CEO. He went on to say Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated “…financial performance, technological innovation and intellectual property, management quality, business model, customer footprint and market penetration” in selecting JAB as one of its 2014 Top 100 honorees from nearly 3000 entries.
In 2013, JAB was selected Operator of the Year by the Wireless Internet Service Provider Association and described as “Forging a 14-state Empire” by the Denver Business Journal.
